Install your support agent

This installs the TechFort support agent on the computer you are using right now. It takes about a minute. Once it finishes, this machine is connected to us automatically. Nothing else to set up.

How to install

  1. Click the button above for your operating system, Windows or Mac, to download the installer.
  2. If your browser asks whether to keep the file, choose Keep.
  3. Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts.
  4. When it finishes, you are done. Nothing else to do. We see the machine on our end automatically.

You may see a couple of safety prompts. This is normal.

Windows shows these for any new program. The TechFort agent is safe. Here is exactly what to click:

  • "Windows protected your PC" (blue box): click More info, then Run anyway.
  • "Do you want to allow this app to make changes?": click Yes.
